About Mindsplinters

Mindsplinters started with Mark Whitbeck a CGI artist and Dennis Baker an actor and
industrial filmmaker. The two have combined their skills to produce independent films that
can compete theatrically and generate market share from the ever growing home video
rental business.
Dennis Baker
Denver, CO
Actor/Producer/Director
dpbaker@mindsplintersfilms.com
Dennis is a published author holds a BS in project management and has been acting for over
20 years a career that started with a gig for FOX© where Dennis played Marge Simpson for
Fox’s live stage show of the hit TV series. From there Dennis went on to produce radio
commercials and worked as a DJ.  But growing up a few miles from Sam Raimi and Bruce
Campbell had a major impact, as Dennis wanted to try his hand at film and more specifically
horror. He knew being as successful as Sam and Bruce would be a stretch, but his first
comedy/horror short The Woodland Haunting 1 has already been mentioned along side
Bruce And Sam’s Evil Dead in broadcast as a cult hit.  Dennis’s next project The Visitor will
feature Calico Cooper (Alice Cooper’s daughter.)
Dennis won America's dream Date as Denton Rose a web series now seen by millions online. He has appeared on FOX and in the Wall Street Journal who called him, "talent" on the web. He was also considered for the lead role in DreamWorks Guilibles Travels (2009) and most recently Dennis directed, Day of the Dying Living on Veoh.
