Ashley lost her mother about a year ago and hasn't been able to deal with her grief. She
learns of tradition in Japan called "Obon" where the spirit of departed loved ones can
be brought home for a visit. Ashley brings home something, but it is not the ghost of her
mother. This tale of what can go wrong when dealing with the dead will terrify you.

Based on an award winning short story, it is about a man who notices a strange
phenomena in his family. After a certain age all his relatives move to a small town
where they soon depart this life. While there, Darren meets Julia a beautiful research
scientist who discovers similar stories told about her own family. Together Darren and
Julie travel to the small town that holds the key to their family secrets.
